The Wedding of Stacey & Lee

Stacey and Lee’s midweek wedding was the kind of celebration that stays with you. Joyful, colourful and full of soul, their three-day gathering brought together their favourite people for a relaxed and deeply personal wedding experience in the heart of Kangaroo Valley. Across the celebration, the weather gave them a little bit of everything, with sunshine, rain, mist and moody skies each adding their own beauty to the day.

In their own words:

"We were so lucky to get married at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat in January ❤️

First and foremost, the team are outstanding. Jack and Sorcha truly went above and beyond and catered for absolutely everything we wanted. They were such wonderful hosts and we didn't have to worry about a thing!

The venue itself is simply magical. There really is something so special about the energy that fills the grounds. Having family from overseas coming to our wedding and experiencing KVBR was such a huge part of why we chose this venue; it's such a beautiful way to bring people together and just enjoy being out in nature and feeling grounded.

The photos that our photographer captured were breathtaking. We had almost every possible weather condition on the day - from sunshine during the ceremony to moody clouds in the evening and they all look beautiful because here, it's hard not to!

Getting to enjoy the celebrations across 3 wonderful days also meant that all our guests had time to get to know each other, hang out and it just helped all of us feel so connected.

The accommodation is so well looked after with plenty of space and options for bed arrangements.

Our guests also had nothing but good things to say about the entire celebration. The views, the firepit, the intimacy of the rock cathedral, the local wildlife - it was perfection.

We would highly recommend KVBR as a wedding venue and we are so lucky that this was how we started the next chapter of our lives!!"
