We believe that each wedding should be intimate and exclusive and at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat you won’t share the property with other guests. Put simply, you own the entire 100 acres for the duration of your stay.

Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat is a picturesque and secluded wedding venue and your wedding is a special, defining moment and should reflect the tone and emotions you’ll carry through the rest of your lives together.

We’re all yours for the weekend! The key to our success is our private and spacious setting, a 100-acre river property in one of Kangaroo Valley’s most picturesque locations. With exclusive use of the venue for an entire weekend you can take things at your own pace, soak up the idyllic surrounds and enjoy quality time with family and friends.

We provide accommodation for up to 68 guests on-site, with further accommodation located close by. As a private facility, the retreat has no other traffic other than the guests, making the beautiful scenery that much more intimate.

The Ceremony

You and your guests will enjoy two exquisite outdoor locations as the perfect setting for this memorable day; the luscious surroundings of the distinctive Cathedral-like rock cavity providing a picture-perfect backdrop or the beautiful deck with breathtaking views of the valley. Another option should the weather prove unsuitable for an outdoor ceremony, our Function Room & Covered Pergola can easily be converted into an attractive and spacious venue to hold your special ceremony.

The Reception

Our Function Room adjoining the main guest lodge offers an intimate setting for your wedding reception. Nestled in a clearing bordered by large Bloodwood and Turpentine trees, for a maximum of 90 guests, however we can easily cater for up to 180 guests* serviced by an outstanding commercial kitchen. The Function Room and covered Pergola offer natural bush charm and warmth.

Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat has everything you need to host a very special wedding celebration for your family and friends that can continue long into the night! If you have additional guests we can arrange to have a Marquee erected in front of the covered Pergola.
