Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat offers a wonderful selection of catered packages for you
and your guests, providing the finest regional cuisine and bush catering available.

We are fortunate to have at your call the onsite catering of Katrina Endean.
She is highly respected in the Valley for her superb food quality and high
level of service.

We do allow flexibility in your catering needs and we do have a new commercial kitchen on site. Added to this all the cabins and the Lodge have their own kitchens.

Weddings catering package

The Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat offers a magnificent and versatile wedding catering package to equal the splendour of your incredibly special wedding weekend.

Our wedding catering packages allow you the choice of a sumptuous BBQ Banquet, Mediterranean Banquet or the traditional three course feast for you and your guests.

Whatever your choice, the menu can be tailored to suit your needs and preferences with a range of tantalising regional cuisine prepared from the finest quality local, seasonal ingredients.

The wedding catering package is available from $72.50 per person for a minimum of fifty guests. We are more than happy for you to bring along your own wedding cake, or we can arrange a splendid one for you. All wedding prices include gst.

Conferences and Groups catering package

The bush retreat catering package for conferences and groups offers a delectable seasonally changing menu that includes a hearty hot breakfast, fresh lunch, two-course gourmet dinner as well as morning and afternoon tea with home-made cakes and biscuits.

The conference and groups catering package is available from $59.00 per person per day based on a minimum of 15 guests.

We do have a variety of options that you can choose from. Best of all you can tailor the requirements as you please.

A full package including morning & afternoon teas, lunch and dinner is available from $69.50 per person per day. All conference & group prices exclude gst.

From our first discussion for a three-day wedding weekend at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat you instilled such confidence that we were happy to entrust you with all the catering requirements. Your suggestions were invaluable in recommending the best seasonal, local and fresh foods for the occasion and in planning timing. The menu choices offered were extensive. The bride and groom and half their wedding guests came from five overseas countries, others were from 3 states of Australia – all of them praised the very high standard of attention, presentation and quality of catering throughout the weekend. Breakfasts, teas, lunches and dinner as well as the formal wedding dinner continued to impress everyone. Your scrambled eggs and mushrooms for breakfast tempted even the most austere dieter. We appreciate too, your willingness to ensure that special dietary requests for diabetes, coeliac disease and allergies were served tempting dishes and that some meals were provided for guests resident at Banksia Park Cottages.

Your happy, friendly, flexible staff in the kitchen, bar and serving roles made a point of getting to know our guests to ensure they were satisfied. The food was absolutely EXCELLENT at every meal and refreshment right through to the ready-made wraps for departing guests to take with them or to enjoy before they left on Sunday. Some liked the canapés and the entrees so well they asked if they were available for mains – perhaps they are planning their own event with Caterina as caterers. The barramundi just ‘melted in the mouth’, and the steak was voted just as tender – all plates were returned empty. Due in large part to the excellent catering by Caterina and staff, this very special wedding weekend event was relaxing and enjoyable, without stress – even for the parents of the bride.
